West Meyer Road construction closure continues through mid-January

The St. Charles County Highway Department will continue the closure of West Meyer Road from Highway W to Duenke Road, through mid-January 2027 as the contractor moves into the next phase of construction.

Access to Oglesby Park will be from the Duenke Road side of the closure. This closure is necessary to re-construct West Meyer Road. The closure will be in place another two months before this section is reopened. Additional closure sections will be announced following this closure section.

Traffic will be required to use the signed detour around the closure section of roadway. Traffic can utilize West Meyer Road to Highway W to Duenke Road to bypass the closure.

This road improvement project is part of a continuing effort by St. Charles County Government to improve the County’s road system for the safety of the travelling public. For more information about road projects underway in unincorporated St. Charles County, please call the Highway Department at 636-949-7305 or visit sccmo.org/RoadProjects.
